Matthew 19 we read of God’s intent for marriage and why He allowed this judgment. “They said to Him, ‘Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?’ He said to them, ‘Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery’” (verses 7-9).

In the western concept of divorce, though it is not called that, it is polygamy. I call it “progressive polygamy”. One marries one wife but gets rid of her legally before marrying another. The difference is that the women also get a legal chance to become polygamists. They progressively marry other men.
In the Bible, the argument is made of Adam and Eve as the foundation of marriage.  However it is true that biblical history records complexities in taking this foundation as absolute. Jesus argued that the human heart resulted in Moses authorizing polygamy. He also presented Marriage as ordained only within time and space. “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”  Mathew22: 30 (KJV)

"So why kill yourself in marriage, marriage is full of shit" "just dont die yet. Cause the moment you do, life continues for the man, so let him have fresh air, while he still has you. "If you know how to keep your okra well, that eforiro, egusi or afang soup wont keep him from coming back to your okra" You die, end of story for you. Trust me even if your husband is a pastor, he will give a biblical excuse why he should not stay alone. Please women you do not want to live in sin so accept his wishes.

For you single ladies, Why not be in a polygamous marriage that is biblically acceptable than living an adulterous life... in the name of one wife syndrome by marrying a divorcee. Or just shut up and dont judge others.

kudos to the many beautiful women who braced up to be the wives of one man. So when next you want to take that bold step to marry who you love, do not mind what they say, your happiness first. Your destiny a priority.

Its d xtian folks that kill themselves over one wife issues, as a muslim i am trained to believe that somday my husband may choose to marry another woman, and its no bigy. I only pray 4 a woman who ll respect n keep d family going. You xtians re so self centred, only me. Thats the only thing the white man brought that you have adhered to.
