MY NIGERIA'S LEGENDARY TALK SHOW HOST: ADESUWA ONYENOKWE
Following graduation from university, Adesuwa was posted to Sokoto for her National service in 1983, and worked at NTA Sokoto. That was where she had her first taste of broadcasting; and it was memorable like she said. Danladi Bako, who was the head of the presentation unit, had encouraged her to present a youth programme on television because he believed she had good diction. When she returned from NYSC, unfortunately there was no vacancy for a TV job. Her first job was as a teacher and that was in Benin in 1984, after which she got the broadcast job eventually, after one year following an audition for newscasters with Bendel Broadcasting service now Edo Broadcasting service. She had her masters at University of Ibadan in 1988, and graduated, got married and moved to NTA Network Service in Lagos same year after masters.
