This Shocking footage shows the moment an unidentified man set himself on fire on the White House lawn. In the video he was seen walking around for several seconds while still on fire before law enforcement officials rushed to put him out with a fire extinguisher. The man was rushed to hospital afterwards.

Who is he that has spoken? Well, no one is God. The governor who spoke in Owerri, the state capital as a special guest of honor at the NBA occasion marking the beginning of the 2016/2017 legal year in the state, had asserted that nobody above 50 years would succeed him in office in, 2019. While the representatives of the two arms of government, the Legislature, and the Judiciary stood in a file to welcome the president along with serving service chiefs, Oshiomole stood close to the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mohammed Tanko. Lawman Duruji has emerged as Speaker of the Imo state House of Assembly following the resignation of the embattled Acho Ihim on Tuesday. DV111 learned that Duruji, the lawmaker representing Ehime Mbano, defeated the acting Speaker, Chinedu Offor, in an election conducted between them. Acho Ihim resigned as the Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and Lawman Duruji has emerged as his successor.   Duruji, who represents Ehime Mbano, emerged during an election conducted between him and the acting Speaker, Chinedu Offor.     While Duruji got 14 votes, Offor garnered 11 votes. The new Speaker in his acceptance speech, said he would steer the ship of the legislature with respect and due process within remaining nine days of the current Assembly.

THE 2019 Delta state election tribunal has kicked off at the state capital, Asaba, Delta on Tuesday. The tribunal has the petition before it challenging the victory of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded general election. At the inaugural hearing an opening speech being first of its kind was shared to all lawyers representing parties in the matter. A pre-hearing heard so fast saw Senior Advocate of Nigeria and their team who represented the PDP and lawyers who represented the APC were called upon to identify the petitions and applications filed and unlike other petitions being handled by other Tribunal panels, the Pre-hearing session was head and concluded same day. The news of the death of Mrs Stella Ajaere came as a shock to many. Wife of slain owner has reportedly died of cancer. DV111.com's source confirmed earlier on Monday that Mrs Ajaere "succumbed peacefully in the early hours of Monday afternoon surrounded by her family and loved ones" following a long battle with cancer, which had seen her go in and out of hospital since the start of the year. An altered video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, slowed down to the point that some social media users think she seems drunk, is spreading online. A three-minute video from Pelosi's Wednesday remarks at the Center for American Progress Ideas Conference, where she accused President Donald Trump of a cover-up and indicated that it may be an impeachable offense, was manipulated so her words sounded slurred and garbled. The video, which has 2.1 million views on Facebook and has been shared 45,000 times on that platform, was posted by a group called Politics WatchDog. Heavy human traffic on Mount Everest has caused the death of trail climbers huddling on an exposed ridge to the summit. According to the Cable Network News, CNN over 320 trail climbers were on a queue in a zone, known as the ''Death Zone'' Sadly, two mountaineers have died on Mount Everest after crowds of people became stuck in a queue leading to the summit of the world's highest mountain.Indian climber Anjali Kulkarni, 55, died on her way back from climbing to the summit of Mount Everest Wednesday, her son Shantanu Kulkarni told CNN. She had become stuck in the "traffic jam" above camp four, which, at 8,000 meters (26,247 feet), is the final camp before the summit. Also an American mountaineer Donald Lynn Cash, 55, also died Wednesday after fainting from high altitude sickness while descending from the summit, according to the Nepalese expedition company Pioneer Adventure Pvt. The  PDP alleged that Justice Bulkachuwa who is the Chairman of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal is the wife of Mr Adamu Bulkachuwa a prominent card-carrying member of the All Progressive Congress and Senator-elect for Bauchi north senatorial district which is also a political party involved in the suit. Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, has now withdrawn from the tribunal. Nigerians you play too much. Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha unveiled the statute of President Muhammed Buhari who he believes deserves the honour as a great President. However, this did not go down well with some Nigerians and here's how they expressed their dismay online.

The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has boasted of his achievements in erecting statutes in the state. He stated this on Wednesday during the inauguration of the newly built Justice Oputa High Court Complex in Owerri, the state capital. Governor Okorocha stated that his administration has erected statutes with beam in-built beam light enough to illuminate the beauty of the state at night. In addition to his achievement he has built hospitals which he believes the next government coming in only has to maintain it. He also used the opportunity to apologize to judges and lawyers in the state for not meeting up with their demands and all they have beckoned on him for. .

The Lagos State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Mr. Hyginus Omeje, made this known in a statement on Wednesday, signed by the Sector’s Head of Public Education, Superintendent Route Commander Florence Edor, that defaulting motorists run the risk of being fined N10,000 as it begins a special patrol code-named ‘Operation Show Your Driver’s Licence’ on Monday. According to Hyginus, the process would be a two weeks operation which aims at reducing the high incidents of motorists driving without valid driver’s licence in the state, as most motorists who apply for licence never care to go back to the licensing offices to collect their permanent licence. So go get yours now or forget about using your car.
