Just 2 days ago a headless body of a man was found along Nnebuisi road Asaba, Delta State.  Today it is with sadness we report another headless body of a 12 Year-old Girl. Miss Eguono was beheaded early this morning in Oghara town by unknown men. Oghara is a capital city of Ethoipe West Local Government Area of Delta State is a place where the former governor Chief James Ibori hails from. The incident took place in a compound close to Okwemeva junction along the Scott Road area in Ogharefe, Oghara, saw symphatizers, mourning the deceased. The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) National Executive Committee (NEC) is set to  remove Usoro as it's president. This  arose out of his money laundering charges proffered by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC.  Pursuant to Article 2.3(i&j) of the NBA Constitution 2015, the legal body wrote: “On Monday 20th August 2018, Mr Paul Usoro SAN was declared President of the Nigerian Bar Association by the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, ECNBA after a contested against other presidential candidates. “Controversies trailed the accreditation and e-voting processes, which led the NBA President at the time A B Mahmoud SAN to appoint, with the approval of the National Executive Committee (NEC) NBA and AGC in August, 2018 in NBA House, the firm of KPMG to carry out forensic examinations in order to address allegations of malpractices and irregularities connected to voters identity theft by way of use of fraudulent email addresses hosted on malicious websites...

The force Public Relations Officer, Mr Jimoh Moshood, dismissed the allegation of their partisan in 2019 election in an interview with Channels Television on Thursday. The Peoples Democratic Party had called for the resignation of the the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu and the Inspector General of Police. However, Mr Moshood had described the allegation as laughable.

The EFCC had condemned the pardon initiated by the Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal to a group of former state officials under trial for corruption.  This development drew the anger of the state government. Following the pattern of the house purchase, the state government did not inform the state citizens that a group of people that were supposed to be working for the citizens’ interest but dipped their hands into their commonwealth have been set free. The Economic and  Financial Crime Commission EFCC had filed an appeal against the decision of the Sokoto State high court judge, Bello Abass, whi had discharged the five persons because the state government had pardoned them.  Delivering lead judgements in the two appeals filed by the EFCC against Alhaji Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi (former SSG) and Isa Sadiq Achida, Justice Sankey and Justice Ndukwe-Anyawu both held that the Governor’s pardon was invalid since the accused persons were still undergoing trial.

The killing of over 100 soldiers has sparked outrage last week. What really happened? They are being killed on daily basis as if their lives don't matter. Truly as soldiers they signed to lay down their lives in defence of their country, but certainly not in the manner they are being presented for slaughter without dignity. A soldier should die fitting and not being chased or overpowered. At the National Executive Council held by the pan-Northern socio-political organisation,  Arewa Consultative Forum,  yesterday Wednesday, by a communiqué  of the meeting  signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the forum,  Alhaji Muhammad  Biu, expressed  concern over the killings. It called on the Federal Government to institute an inquiry into the killing of nearly 100   soldiers by  Boko Haram  in Metele, Borno State,  last week. The inquiry would unravel  the immediate and remote causes of the attacks.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has through its social media handle denied media reports that it collected the sum of N10 million as donation from the Kano State Governor, Mr Abdullahi Ganduje, for an anti-corruption campaign. The news that an aide to the Governor, who was believed to have been the person captured in a video collecting kick-back from a contractor, said in a statement that the N10 million was donated to the commission for a forthcoming event. They  The EFCC has reacted to the news and  blackmail to tarnish the image of the commission.

A man who couldn’t bear the heartbreak following the sex video of his girlfriend, reportedly committed suicide by drinking a poisonous substance. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died. Cops were tipped off that a Chinese business man was selling condoms below prices.  Chinese authorities busted the counterfeit-condom ring running perhaps one of the most unique salvage operations known to man. The gang made $7 million recycling used condoms and selling them as new to hotels and supermarkets. Police seized 500,000 boxes of counterfeit Durex condoms, complete with matching fake branded boxes, from workshops in three Chinese provinces. The Senate on Thursday has directed the police to vacate the premises of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly as well as cease denying legislators access to their chambers. Senator Bassey Akpan had revealed that state lawmakers were still unable to access their chambers because of the presence of the police. But Senator Ahmad Kaita who contributed to the issue said that if the police vacates the premises the legislators will go in there and cause a fracas  he further said " The police are only there to promote peace." Mr. Femi Otedola the founder of Zenoil, yesterday appeared before a Federal Capital Territory FCT to testify against Mr. Farouk Lawan, a former member of the house. Mr. Farouk was chairman of a subcommittee investigating a multi-billion-dollar fraud associated with government fuel subsidy during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Lawan had testified that the witness forced him to take the money, which  Otedola denied. Otedola had testified that after an initial deposit of $500,000 was paid into his account, Lawan declared Zenon Oil and Gas free of the initial indictment. A video of Mr. Lawan receiving the money was played in court without any objection from the defence counsel. The matter was later adjourned at the instance of the defence counsel for cross examination. 

Micheal Adikwu who was the prime suspect and gang leader in the Offa bank robbery where atleast 32 people were killed on April 5, 2018 is now reportedly  dead.   The suspect's had been with the police since their arrest.   Two lawyers who were representing the suspects announced their withdrawal from the case last week. Mr. Eugene Desouza from Zambia wanted his wife to loose weight and so enrolled her at a gym only to catch her red handed digging it with her gym instructor.   According to the source, He started trailing her and boom! he caught her red handed sleeping with the gym instructor. The man has been heavily criticized after allegedly revealing the identity of his wife whom he recently caught committing adultery with a gym trainer.   The gym instructor was assaulted, beaten and wounded for sleeping with his wife, Mrs. Desouza. The husband posted the video of the assault online in a bid to shame the man and also posted pictures of his wife, which sparked outrage.

The Civil Society Network Against Corruption, which is a coalition of over 150 anti-corruption organization with the aim of constructively combating corruption in Nigeria, has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to investigate the alleged illegal repatriation of export revenue by communication giant company, MTN, and its collaborators. In a petition forwarded to the EFCC and signed by CSNAC’s Chairman, Olanrewaju Suraju, the Network said the anti-graft commission should cause an investigation into the matter with a view to enforcing the return of the funds illegally repatriated to the Federal Government of Nigeria as the Foreign Exchange Manual stipulates. John Ogunjobi, was only 16 year-old and  lived with his family in Tulse, South London. He was stabbed in the on November 5. He was pronounced dead despite efforts by paramedics to save his life. Four suspects in their twenties have been arrested  at South London police station in connection to the murder and for questioning.
