I saw this on a bumper sticker once and found it interesting...found it on amazon too and I suppose this represents what some have observed after going through a very difficult time, not finding people in the church that could empathize or understand without feeling judgement from them in some way. and the pain associated with their disillusionment of what they thought God's people should be like. As unfortunate as that may be, it shouldn't be the case...

IF SOME GROUPS OR FANATICS USE RELIGION TO KILL INNOCENT CHRISTIAN YOUTHS, AND THERE IS A RETALIATION, I BELIEVE EVERY BODY WILL RESPECT THEMSELVES. BUT WHEN THE SAME HUMILIATED PEOPLE DONT RETALIATE, THEY CONTINUE TO GET KILLED, IN THE NAME THAT THEIR GOD HATES A KILLER, YET KILLERS ARE STILL COMING TO YOU EVERY NOW AND THEN TO KILL AND DESTROY WHAT YOU HAVE LABOURED FOR. BECAUSE THEY SEE YOU AS COWARDS.

Her statement read in part;  "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."

Over the weeks now Nigerians are being saddled with the news about the police refusing to leave the premises of a serving Senator, Dino Melaye, but some Nigerians online expect that this over-zealousness at getting the Senator could possibly be used in securing lives and properties of Nigerians on a daily basis. What are his friends saying about this? why is there silence over this issue? Whose toes has the serving senator stepped on?
