I'M STILL THAT PLANTAIN BOY - TIMAYA EGBERI 1 OF BAYELSA

I will always love this song by Timaya because it tells a lot of stories and its very engaging. I get
butterfly when i hear the DJ play that song. If you do not know the song or wish to listen it to get inspiration. You can listen to it here.

 Timaya was born Enetimi Odom in 1977 in Bayelsa State. Then, it was still part of Rivers State. He was born into a family of 17 children. His mother had three girls and four boys for his father, while his father had eight other children from another wife.
Timaya cut his teeth on the streets of Port Harcourt, as a ‘plantain boy’, something he never makes us forget in his music and then later on in Lagos as a backup singer for Idris Abdul Kareem;

 Never give up on your heart desires.  Especially the desires that has no negative consequences.  It could be slow but one day God, force, master of the universe  or how ever you call or know him will put a smile in your face.

 You should still be you, keep your head high, be a titanium, have faith even in moments like this:

The moment you realize that the person you cared for has nothing intellectually or spiritually to offer you, but a headache.

The moment you realize God had greater plans for you that don’t involve crying at night or sad Pinterest quotes.

The moment you stop comparing yourself to others because it undermines your worth, education and your parent’s wisdom.

The moment you live your dreams, not because of what it will prove or get you, but because that is all you want to do. People’s opinions don’t matter.

 The moment you realize that no one is your enemy, except yourself.

The moment you realize that you can have everything you want in life. However, it takes timing, the right heart, the right actions, the right passion and a willingness to risk it all. If it is not yours, it is because you really didn’t want it, need it or God prevented it.

The moment you realize the ghost of your ancestors stood between you and the person you loved. They really don't want you mucking up the family line with someone that acts anything less than honorable. Don't over flog issues,  like Gideon in the Christian Bible go back to your family and settle any negative scores.

The moment you realize that happiness was never about getting a person. They are only a helpmate towards achieving your life mission. I love  you all. Stay sweet!

9. The moment you believe that love is not about losing or winning. It is just a few moments in time, followed by an eternity of situations to grow from.

10. The moment you realize that you were always the right person. Only ignorant people walk away from greatness.
