The court heard how Ullah was driving his 6.2-litre Mercedes car along Allensbank Road, in Heath, between 45 and 50mph in a 30mph zone.
Witnesses described professional cabbie Ullah’s driving as “far exceeding” the speed limit and “flashing” past pedestrians.
Ullah hit a Volkwagen Polo driven by Miss Jones, 33, which caused her serious injury and she was left unconscious.
