Ayo Adesanya (born August, 1969) is a Nigerian film actress, director and producer.


Early life

She hails from Ijagun, ijebu in Ogun State southwestern Nigeria.She attended St. Ann school at Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State and later proceeded to the University of Ibadan where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass communication.

Career

She began her career in 1996 after she completed the National Youth Service Scheme and her first appearance on television was on Tunji Bamishigbin’s soap opera titled Palace. She later joined the yoruba- Speaking genre of Nigeria film and has featured, produced and directed several films.

Personal life

She was formerly married to Goriola Hassan, but now separated. She also has a son and ready for a relationship.




even after work and having fun, she takes time to fulfill her obligation as a mother to her cute son.

i saw one post on linda ikeji. it was horrible hope that was not the dress she wore to the show. i believe more on this post as she looks more like what she is known. kudos.

Following the backlash that trailed her performance at Shatta Wale's Reign Concert over the weekend, Ghanaian singer,  Fantana  has now released a statement.  The singer stated that she is not ashamed of being a woman and also mesntruating. Her statement read in part;  "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
