IMMORALITY IN THE NAME OF GOD.

Police in Kubwa, a satellite town in the FCT, have arrested a middle-aged Pastor for allegedly having immoral act with a woman.


Daily Trust says the victim, who resides in Aba, Abia State, had complained to her sister, who is a member of the church of the suspect, of a protracted spiritual problem which has defied both medical and spiritual solutions.

This made the suspect invite her to his church in Byazhin and advised the member to instruct the sister to buy a cream-like drug which she was to apply all over her body on daily basis as a recipe to the problem.

According to the victim, she was later invited to Abuja by the suspect, after her problem persisted.

The suspect, a father of two, who claimed that God told him that she was his wife, finally had his way in impregnating the victim but insisted that the pregnancy should be aborted.

It, however, revealed that the baby eventually came despite efforts to abort the baby, but added that both were abandoned by the suspect, an action that provoked the victim to take the case the police.

Reacting, the Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Nurrudeen Sabo, confirmed the incident, saying the matter is being investigated.
