nearly happened at Tallie's birthday when her friends failed to turn up. But, determined not to let her daughter celebrate alone, Lauren Sassmannhausen called on her local community to help out. Party: none of Tallies friends turned up
She contacted her local community centre in Springhill, Tennessee, to ask if any other kids wanted to come and help her celebrate. And as the clip shows, Tallie wasn't short of people wishing her a happy birthday in the end. But she had plenty of people to celebrate with
Lauren posted this under the clip on Facebook, which has been viewed over 55,000 times: "I Never in my life thought a community would pull together like they did today. "I had several people RSVP and only a few came. "Tallie
was asking about every 10 minutes where her friends were, and my
response was 'they are coming, baby'. time passed and none of her
friends showed. "So I asked the Springhill community if any of their kids wanted to come and celebrate with us! "NEVER in my life would I have though we would have so many people care about a child they didn't know. "I
want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart and I want to
express my gratitude to you all for coming out and making my baby girl's
birthday so very special. SO THANK YOU!!! GOD IS GREAT."

Following the backlash that trailed her performance at Shatta Wale's Reign Concert over the weekend, Ghanaian singer, Fantana has now released a statement. The singer stated that she is not ashamed of being a woman and also mesntruating. Her statement read in part; "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women.
