She was traveling to meet with her beloved family before the crash. So sad.

Hassana Usman, mother of two, was one of the seven persons who lost their lives in yesterday’s air-force helicopter crash. Her friends says she was free spirited and the most amazing human being anyone will meet.

The aircraft crashed about 10 minutes after take-off en route to Abuja yesterday morning. All the seven people on board died, which was confirmed by the NAF authorities. The victims of the accident were the pilot, the co-pilot, two engineers and three passengers.

While officials are yet to provide the names of the deceased, a photo of Keyinde Olaniyan, who was said to have been the co-pilot of the ill-fated helicopter, has gone viral.

According to the reports, he got engaged in May, with his wedding scheduled for December.
