If you've ever imagined growing up in a wild kingdom, this adorable duo of marsupials is just for you
Friends: A pair of confused baby kangaroos appear to think they're dogs
Anyone who ever wanted a pet just like Skippy the bush kangaroo will turn green with envy at these two house 'roos.
The adorable joeys are totally at home curled up on their owner's lap - and really seem to think they're a pair of puppies.
Named
Dash and Rosella, the little ones have well and truly made themselves
at home since being adopted by Alisha Costanzo and family.
As well as stealing cuddles from the family dachshunds, the mischievous marsupials also curl up with the cat on the sofa.
Their
un-kangaroo-like behaviour started as Alisha had to bottle feed the
youngsters, but now they can play outside they still chase the dogs
around the family's farm in Gulgong, Australia.
Alisha, 33, said: "The pair of them are almost inseparable from the dogs."
Cosy cuddles: The 'roos were rescues - and get on well with the pets the Costanzos already have
"We had to bottle feed them when we first adopted them as
they weren't big or warm enough to look after themselves," she
continued.
"They just got used to sleeping with the dachshunds
and won't leave them alone now - they climb on to the sofa and snuggle
in with them.
"Now they're allowed out on the farm they just
chase each other around all the time. It's like they don't know they're
kangaroos really."
The bouncy pair didn't always have such an
idyllic life as they do living with Alisha, her husband Charlie and
three kids - Orlando, 11, Alessio, nine, and seven-year-old Briar-Mae.
Alisha
saved them on separate occasions - in August 2014 she took Dash in
after his mum was hit by a car and nine months later rescued Rosella
after her mum was shot by a farmer.

Perfect pets: The mischievous marsupials also curl up with the cat and the kids
She added: "It's sad how we ended up adopting them, but those accidents are quite common around here.
"But when I saw them, I knew I had to look after them.
"Once
fully furred and starting to eat on grass, the joeys started spending
their days outside and nights and cold or wet days inside."
Now they have almost free-reign of the farm, Dash and Rosella have expanded their animal crew into the families other pets.
The Costanzo household is a haven for injured or vulnerable animals .
In
the last two years alone Alisha has nursed a Puggle - a baby echidna -
numerous fallen birds, two calves, a sheep, miniature horses, a baby pig
and turkeys.

All ears: The little ones have been raised by people, hence their domestic natures
She said: "All the animals get along very well, and my children love the mix, especially Briar-Mae, who is a definite nurturer.
"My love of all things animal started when I grew up on a large property near Tamworth in New South Wales.
"My
mum always had orphaned animals and I shared her passion and was
allowed to have my own Joey and calves and be responsible for their care
before and after school.
"When I was 15 my parents decided a change was in order and they took a job managing and living on an animal park near Sydney.
"I found a love of reptiles, even removing venomous and non-venomous snakes from people's homes.
"I
also had an active role in public demonstrations, flying and giving a
talk on wedge tailed eagles, koalas, wombats, dingos, reptiles and
macaques."
Following the backlash that trailed her performance at Shatta Wale's Reign Concert over the weekend, Ghanaian singer, Fantana has now released a statement. The singer stated that she is not ashamed of being a woman and also mesntruating. Her statement read in part; "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
