Convicted murderer is seen ripping metal panels off the rooftop of one of Britain's notorious prisons
Stuart Horner, who took to the rooftop of the notorious Strangeways Prison in
Manchester yesterday around 2pm, scaled a fence while stripped to his underwear, and has been cheered on by fellow inmates as he destroys the roof.
The 35-year-old spent this morning walking across the glass roof of the prison, smashing panels with a wooden stick.
He also shouted to members of the public and news reporters "Tell me mam I'm alright" as he lay on the glass roof and told everyone he is having the time of his life.

Horner, serving 27 years inside for killing his uncle, has been on the roof since around 2pm on Sunday.
He shouted to reporters and photographers throughout the night and members of the public gathered outside.
