GIRL LEFT FLYING IN THE AIR AND LEFT FOR DEAD BY HIT AND RUN DRIVER
young hit-and-run victim ‘sent flying’ and left for dead is in disbelief and disgusted by the driver who did not stop.
Amelia Pascoe, 21, was hit by a car last Friday at 10.30pm while crossing the road in Staines.
The car sped off leaving her seriously injured in the middle of the road, reports Get Surrey.
The incident was witnessed by another driver in their rear view mirror who stopped to help.
She was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting with a fractured pelvis, skull and right knee, as well as damage to her left knee, tailbone on her spine and cuts and bruises to her face and back.
She has already undergone surgery to repair the wound on her left knee, but requires another operation to her right knee.
The Egham Travelodge worker has been told by doctors it could take more than three months to fully recover.
“I can’t believe it and I’m disgusted,” she said.
