Supermoon lunar eclipse sends moon blood red in amazing natural phenomenon

Supermoon lunar eclipse countdown is on

There is just around an hour to go until the Supermoon lunar eclipse is due to start.
We are expecting it to begin at around 1.10am - although we may not see much happening until an hour or so after that.

What makes this so special is that we are due to witness THREE different events happening at the same time.
First is the lunar eclipse, then it is also a Supermoon and thirdly we will also see what is known as a blood moon.

This is the first time since 1982 that these three things have happened and we will not see another until 2033.

Does it mean the end of the world?

There's no evidence of this at all.
This is the fourth Blood Moon of the year which those who believe the Blood Moon Prophecy says will bring on the apocalypse.
Many biblical theorists maintain the event will trigger the Rapture and the start of a seven-year-tribulation.
These theories, which are restricted to tiny minority of churches and groups, have been dismissed by scientists and are thought to be well wide of the mark.
