Tragic: John and Lynette Rodgers died less than a week after they exchanged vows
A bride who drowned alongside her husband just six days after they got married said her wedding was the "best day ever" is one of her final Facebook posts.
John Rodgers, 28, and his wife Lynette, 26, died on Friday after getting
caught in a rip tide at Plettenberg Bay while on honeymoon.
In poignant messages posted on Facebook Mrs Rodgers conveyed her excitement ahead of her South African adventure.

She had changed her cover photo to a picture of her and her four smiling bridesmaids and thanked loved ones for coming to her wedding.
She wrote: "John and myself would like to thank to everyone that joined us on Saturday and for all the well wishes!
"We greatly appreciate it and had the best day ever. Heading off today so will speak to everyone when we return! Xx"

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
