According to allnigeriasoccer.com, Nigeria coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, has said the Golden Eaglets are ready for Tuesday’s FIFA Under-17 World Cup match against hosts Chile.
Nigeria, who beat USA 2-0 in their first group game on Saturday, will qualify
for the second round if they win the encounter.

Amuneke acknowledged that the match against Chile, who drew their first match 1-1 with Croatia, will be tough. But the former Super Eagles winger is confident that the team will win the game.
“Tomorrow’s (Tuesday) match against Chile is a crucial game and you must expect a dogfight,” the former African Footballer of the Year was quoted as saying on the Nigeria Football Federation’s website.
“But we must approach the match with discipline and responsibility. We must be ready to fight for 90 minutes.”

Meanwhile, Eaglets’ striker, Victor Osimhen, has returned to training and will be available for selection for the match against Chile. Osimhen scored one of the two goals against USA on Saturday before he was injured.

According to the NFF, the forward trained with his teammates after they arrived at Vina del Mar on Sunday. He is expected to lead the Eaglets’ attack. Osimhen scored four of the Eaglets’ seven goals at the African Under-17 Nations Cup in Niger Republic in February.
