Pizza Hut will stop serving grapes in all their branches across the UK following the death of toddler Jacob Jenkins .
The two-year-old died last night in his parent's arms after choking on a piece of fruit at a restaurant in Hartlepool.
A statement issued by the popular pizza chain today said: “As a mark of respect, and in light of the tragic death of Jacob Jenkins, we have removed grapes from our menu with immediate effect.
“The well-being of our guests is always our number one priority, and our hearts go out to his family.”
