Janet-Jackson postpones four shows Unbreakable world
Janet Jackson has postponed four of her Unbreakable World Tour shows.
The
singer took to Twitter just before the weekend to tell her fans on that
she would not be performing in Salt Lake City on Saturday night or
Denver on Sunday because of 'doctor's orders'.
Then
on Sunday the 49-year-old star announced she would also be rescheduling
her Kansas City and St. Louis concerts on Tuesday and Thursday but that
she would resume the tour in Omaha on Friday.
In
Jackson's first tweet she said: 'Hey you guys, I must rest my vocal
chords. Doctor's orders... Will be rescheduling Salt Lake and Denver.'
On
Sunday she followed up with 'Must postpone Kansas City & St.
Louis... Doctors orders. Hold onto your tickets! I'll be back in Omaha
#Unbreakable'
The tour dates have not yet been rescheduled.
It
is not the first time the pop icon has had to put a hold on her concert
dates, back at the beginning of October she had to cancel her Las Vegas
show, again due to vocal strain.
Even
when Janet was at her peak, all her albums and tours should have been
named the WHISPER ALBUM AND TOUR. She's no vocalist, never was. Every
tour she's canceled due to exhaustion, bronchitis, Joe acting up or any
other excuse to give her time to catch her breath so she can WHISPER. I
would never pay to see her on stage in Hammer pants WHISPERING. She's a
JACKSON and we want her to be as great as MICHAEL but she's JANET.
Love you girl!
