Girl of 8 killed in car crash after grandfather allowed her to take the wheel.
A girl of eight was killed in a car crash after her grandfather allowed her to take the wheel.
Cadence Orcutt died after losing control of the Chevy Cobalt she was travelling in with grandad Dennis Meers on Sunday afternoon.
Police believe Meers allowed the little girl to take the steering wheel before the vehicle crashed down an embankment and overturned.
Orcutt, from Troy, Kansas, was not wearing a seatbelt when she died, according to CJ Online.
In an emotional Facebook post, Orcutt’s mother Brittany hit back at people who had been cruelly blaming her for her daughter’s death.
