Man Bags 19 Years in Prison for Repeatedly Raping Several Prostitutes

A sexual predator and serial rapist has been jailed for raping numerous prostitutes repeatedly after he invited them via an adult services website.

A sexual predator who enjoys raping prostitutes has been arrested by the police for raping numerous prostitutes after promising to pay them for their services.

 

Albert Newton met the women on an adult services website and on three occasions arranged to meet them before raping or attempted to rape them. On each occasion, he agreed to pay a specific amount of money for sex acts, but his actions showed he had no intention of paying.

 

According to police evidentc, his first victim traveled from Nottinghamshire to Loughborough, having been promised payment. But, the serial rapist attacked her in a nearby park and raped her without paying her. He met his second victim in a hotel room, overpowered her and raped her. His third victim agreed to meet him in her own home. He provided a small amount of money for a brief sexual encounter, then trapped her inside, raping her repeatedly.

 

Det Sgt Neil Holden said Newton was a "persistent offender", who changed his online profile name and phone number after each offence.

 

"He picked vulnerable women, exploiting them for his own sexual gratification, without their consent," he said.

"He ensured that when he arranged to meet them they would be at their most vulnerable, putting him in a powerful position to abuse them." Det Sgt Holden urged anyone else who believed they had been attacked by Newton to come forward. 

 

At Leicester Crown Court, he was found guilty of five counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of false imprisonment for trapping his third victim in her home. The 32-year-old, found guilty at Nottingham Crown Court in August, was sentenced to 19 years in prison.
