Buhari Orders EFCC to Probe Ex-Service Chiefs
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Economic and Financial Crime
Commission (EFCC) to investigate the immediate past Chief of Defence
Staff, (CDS), Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, two former Chiefs of Air
Staff, Air Marshals Mohammed Dikko Umar and Adesola Amosu, some serving
and retired military officers of the Nigerian Army and Air Force over
their roles in the arms procurement scandal.

The presidential directive was predicated on the recommendations of the committee established to audit the procurement of arms and equipment in the Armed Forces and Defense sector from 2007 to 2015.
