A cow made a daring break for freedom - sparking a police chase through the streets of New York. Surreal
dashcam footage taken from a police car shows the bovine fugitive
dashing across a road in Jamaica, Queens, evading the attention of one
man who tries to stop it.
It was also filmed by a passerby trotting down 175th street as bemused pedestrians looked on. The cow had escaped from the Archer Halal Live Poultry and Meat Market on 165th Street. Unfortunately for the animal, it was later caught in a car park and returned to the store to meet it's fate.
