A property manager has been found guilty of gruesomely murdering his wife before burying her in the back garden.
Nigel Jackson, 60, had plotted to swap his wife and mum-of-four Brenda Davidson, 72, for his secret lover.

But he was convicted yesterday following a two-day trial in the Algarve resort of Portimao.

Jackson was also convicted of credit card fraud and theft for selling his wife's jewellery.
He used her bank cards after killing her, moving his Portuguese mistress Vanessa Milheiro, 42, into their remote country cottage.
The 60-year-old will spend a maximum 25 years behind bars following the guilty verdicts.
