The trainer uses a method called voluntary training, or positive reinforcement, which means Max and Ruby only perform when they want to and are never forced to do a trick if they aren’t in the mood.
Their owner, who has worked with animals for over 30 years, said: “Poodles are very docile - they are very loving and attentive. They are also one of the smartest breeds in the world.
“Max is very laid back and obedient. Everyone loves him and especially his paws.
“I let his hair grow out and dyed them red - the kids love it.
“They are never forced to do anything. If he doesn’t want to do it, it’s not big deal. I reward them with lots of love, they are my babies.
