Emenike set for Hammers move
West Ham United are reported to be in the process of signing Nigerian international striker Emmanuel Emenike from Fenerbahce.
The player is currently on loan with Al Ain in the Middle East, but according to Four Four Two, Fenerbahce chairman Aziz Yildrim has confirmed that the player is set to move to the Hammers.
"We’re about to loan [Emenike] to West Ham United. They will give us €1m for this agreement and they will have the option to purchase him for €11m. But the deal hasn't been completed yet," he said.
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic, a former Besiktas boss, currently has battled for options up front after injuries affected the likes of Andy Carroll, Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho.
Emenike retired from the Nigerian national team last year after scoring nine goals in 37 matches.
