Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg introduces a new messenger platform at the F8 summit in San Francisco


If true, it would be another way for Facebook to make money from the free-to-use messaging service .
According to TechCrunch, the adverts will only appear in message threads that have been started with brands or businesses.


The social network has already reveled plans to allow businesses to use Messenger to contact customers and it's thought the adverts could rolled out in the next few months.
It would appear on the iOS, Android and Windows Phone versions of the Facebook Messenger app.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
