Inspector falls off cliff into sea' while rescuing stranded birds in Storm
After reading this, i didnt know whether to cry or to laugh bitterly. To cry, because i could see the love this great young man has for life and safety. How he cared for the 20 to 30 birds, this goes to show what he could do, if it where to be a human being. The truth is i also laughed bitterly because the birds he tried to save, flew away and he without a wing fell off the cliff. How pathetic.
According to Mr Reid's wife Tracey, 45, said: "All I know is that he was on a job and it looks like he may have fallen from a cliff and gone into the sea.

"The search in the sea has now been stopped, but they are still searching inland.
"He had been on a night shift and I reported him missing this morning.
"He was helping to rescue some gannets at the time."
She added: "He's been an RSPCA inspector for 30 years and loves his job. He loves animals and would do anything to rescue them.
