The average Nigerian only loves to take, take, and take some more like leeches....
If Nigerians (not all) are not wicked,
Then Why is it that Foams, mattresses, blankets, food stuffs that were donated to these camps by very very few well meaning Nigerians, International Aids, NGOs, govt etc being kept aside, while mats are given to the displaced people to sleep on. Is it Because we are not affected by the plights of our fellow Nigerians? or is there more than meets the eyes? Its such a shame, that many of us do not even care about what happens in the Northern parts of this country, simply because we feel safer where we are. Oh, Each time I sit back to ruminate on where Nigeria is and where it is supposed to be, my heart becomes weary and so ashamed. NIGERIANS ARE WICKED...
Some of us (especially those who luck, opportunity or favour as some call it, smiled on them, esp. who were not born with silver spoons) are willing to buy a purse, shoe, scarf, even tissue papers for 50k -4million naira and display it. Where have you seen the richest man in the world display his personal belongings personally, if not for paparazzi who pork-nose and send out pictures, but you display them for us to see how large you are, rather than to give that community far away from your luxury home a helping hand, what then is the value of your wealth when there are hungry starving people in the IDP camps in the north, deaths here and there and all you think about is your immediate family, so they can worship you as their Savior. Have you paused to truly Ask yourself, what people would remember you for when you are no more. 
The worst part of another group of Nigerians is that majority of us who share how these people are suffering on our Facebook pages, Instagram, Linda Ikeji, Twitter, Bella naija, Punch newspapers, just to mention a few, have never ever helped or assisted these people. We are ready to share the pains of these people, their deaths, their agony, the ways and manner they have been butchered, maimed yet we have never done anything personally to help them. You may say you do not have the money,
but you have your mouth to pray, your knee to kneel.Well if you dont have a God, why not try mine as My God's hands are never too short to help us in times of our needs but its just that our minds are far from him. 
We criticise a government that is not even a year old, we frustrate all PMB's efforts at fighting corruption and stabilizing the country, because of food, because of what we would eat! Is it a curse for us to join hands together rather than to frustrate?
Even abroad, some Nigerians turn their fellow Nigerians in so that they can get deported or loose their jobs. In Nigeria, many Nigerians will worship foreigners especially those with pale skin yet treat their fellow Nigerian citizens with downright contempt. When it comes to helping others, most Nigerians barely help or share their resources, time or talent with the less fortunate and with others.

Yet we wonder why there is so much suffering and lack of peace in the country. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people (Proverbs 14:34). As long as Nigerians refuse to turn away from wickedness, total peace and happiness will continue to delude us as a people.
My fellow Nigerians, Yes you, you who is reading this, when was the last time you knelt down and prayed to your 'chi', God, juju, or what ever you believe in for the betterment of this nation, for peace in our nations, especially in the northern part of the country. Incase you do not know, your community is not affected today, because some people are praying and fasting for this nation. You may say we pray for our country in our churches, when we go for mass etc, but personally, have you ever done that? The larger we are in intercessory prayers for the nation, the better.
If most Nigerians were not wicked, why the high level of bribery and corruption in our society? Why the excessive greed and worship of materialism? If Nigerians were not wicked, why the constant stories permeating from Nigeria in regards to rape, pedophilia, extreme domestic violence, excessive infidelity and the likes with no severe repercussions for the perpetrator of the act?
If Nigerians were not wicked, why do most look away and say nothing when atrocities including abuse are being commited against ordinary people day in, day out, yet are so quick to jump to their pastors' defense should anyone criticize him or her even if the said pastor is wrong? hmmmmmmn...i weep for my country this day, unless we change our attitudes, our thoughts, we are going no where.
"God, are you still there? I have asked this question because it seems you, God, have abandoned us. Is it because of our transgressions? Do not kill us before we get old, for you live and reign forever. Cleanse our nation of the evil men and women who have vowed to destroy it and your people. When will you restore our nation, Lord? When? If you allow things to go on the way they are we will wake up one morning and discover there is no country again to call ours."
