Unseen footage of brutal moment Colonel Gaddafi was captured shows the bloody and beaten dictator
It was shot in October 2011 by rebel fighter Ayman Almani on his mobile phone as the crowds gathered and cheered their success.
BBC reporter Gabriel Gatehouse tracked down Mr Almani who showed him this never seen before footage
It shows the dictator's final moments more clearly than ever, he can be seen bleeding and pleading for his life.
"Islam teaches us not to mistreat a prisoner, not to bear a grudge.
The reporter who was in Libya when Gaddafi was overthrown recently went back to the war-torn country to track down what happened to the golden gun which became a symbol of the rebel' victory.
