3 Year old kid left fighting for his life after his body started to blister and swell..
Joel Greaves, three, from Leicester, was left fighting for his life on a ventilator after his tiny body started to blister and swell.
Doctors first diagnosed the toddler with chicken pox but soon realised it was Steven's Johnson Syndrome - a rare but life-threatening skin condition that is usually a reaction to medication or an infection.
Joel was placed into intensive care on a ventilator and wrapped in bandages to help heal his sore and blistered skin but they couldn't guarantee his devastated mum, Tammy, 32, that he'd survive.
After nine weeks in hospital, the twin was reunited with his brother, Louie, and sister Laila, six, and has since learnt to walk, talk and eat again.
Thank goodness.
