RIP: Oscar winner George Kennedy has passed away aged 91
George Kennedy, famous for his roles in Cool Hand Luke and Naked Gun, has died.
The 91-year-old actor won an Oscar for his performance in the 1967 hit Cool Hand Luke as the sadistic chain gang prisoner Dragline before going on to star in The Guns of the Magnificent Seven and the Naked Gun series.

He passed away on Sunday in Boise, Idaho.
George's grandson Cory Schenke confirmed the sad news on Facebook and said the actor had been in hospice care for the last month.

His wife Joan died last year and Cory revealed that his grandfather's health had been failing ever since.
