Horrific: Kevin Bowes' daughter Vicky answered her door last night and was slashed across the face
 
A furious father has posted pictures on Facebook of his daughter's horrific injuries after she was slashed across the face when answering her door.
Kevin Bowes says his daughter Vicky called him in hysterics after she was sliced down the cheek last night.


The attacker, dressed in a dark hooded top and jogging bottoms, then ran off from the house in Peterlee, County Durham.
Mr Bowes posted the message on Facebook group 'Peterlee Have Your Say' appealing for help in 'finding this scumbag'.

Shocking: She phoned her dad Kevin in hysterics and he's now appealing to find the 'scumbag that did this'
He wrote: "Please share! Help find this scumbag who has done this to my daughter.
"So I got a call at 11.29pm 07/03/16 my daughter hysterical saying dad help someone has slashed my face.

"She was in bed got knock on door and went down and answered it , when she opened the door the bastard slashed her face and ran off.
"He was approx 5ft 8" to 5ft 10" dressed with a dark navy or black hoodie, dark grey joggers and white trainers.

Will this help to find the scumbag? I pray it does.
