Miracle: Rollercoaster Ride Shifts Brain Tumor out of woman's Brain.

The ride shifted her brain fluid which had been blocked by the tumour, they told her, temporarily preventing a fatal build-up of pressure, Get Surrey reports.
Following surgery to remove the tumour, Emma had to learn to walk, talk and feed herself again.


Now, a teacher at Isleworth Town Primary School in London, she is making the most of her remarkable survival story by volunteering for The Brain Tumour Charity.
The 24-year-old was part of a group of young ambassadors for the charity who travelled to the European Parliament in Brussels to campaign for more investment into brain tumour research and better support for those with the condition.

She and fellow ambassadors - all of whom have either been treated for brain tumours or lost loved ones to the condition - met MEP Emma McClarkin to discuss their experiences, and they also visited the office of the European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC).

"The trip to Brussels was a great experience and an opportunity to advocate on behalf of the brain tumour community. We have encouraged Emma McClarkin to push for further research and funding into brain tumours," said Emma, who lives in Twickenham.
"Brain tumours receive less than 2% of government funding so if we want to make a change then the time is now. As young ambassadors we can speak up for those who don’t have a voice themselves. Hopefully we achieved that in Brussels."
