NIGERIANS AND LOYALIST ARE BLINDED BY THE REAL TRUTH BEHIND THE AMAECHI AND WIKE's BATTLE OF THRONES.

The truth may remain buried in political folklore, but then one of the issues between Amaechi and Wike was the opposition by  the former to the latter succeeding him as governor of the state on the  basis of rotation of the offices.  Wike, however, persisted and after Amaechi’s forced exit from the PDP,  Wike became the political leader of the PDP in the state.  

 
It was as such a battle of sorts for Amaechi taking on a patriotic  stance trying to convince his Ikwere kin not to vote for their own in  the governorship election. Its ok to have personal Ambition, its ok to be what you want to achieve, but its not ok when it comes to TRUE politics. Amaechi though we have no physical encounter is a man i perceive to listen to the voice of his people. I believe Wike who is now a governor should put aside this 
Gargantua gaga and prove to the people who voted for him that he is ever ready to be a better governor. Too many words and the tiny truths will creep into the minds of people. 

In the past,the Hausas believed they were in a better position to rule this great nation yes they had an organized system and so do other tribes too. The Truth is for peace to reign in a land with diverse cultures and tribes as Nigeria, rotation in terms of governorship amongst the tribes must come first Irrespective of the parties. Anyone in government who forgets that, will only deliberately put this nation in jeopardy. We have realized that,That mind set  has not stood the test of time. Thats why its expedient to bring in other tribes to make This vast geo-political zone one nation. How can we be one When in a little governorship election as seen in Rivers State could produce two governors from same Senatorial District? Some ibos who are not in support of biafra has asked.

Amaechi may have wanted the best for his people and for the state, what a patriotic act only few Nigerians have. The question is, Can there ever be an Amaechi?

Nowhere represents the  charged political atmosphere in Rivers State today more than the Rivers  East Senatorial District. It is the battle ground in the sense that it  is the major political base of the leading political figures from the  state.  Erstwhile Governor of the state and present minister of transportation,  Mr. Rotimi Amaechi is from the district and so is his successor as  governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike. 

 Amaechi is from Ikwere Local government area while Wike is from Obio  Akpor Local government area all within the senatorial district.  Obio Akpor Local Government area is also, arguably the most politically  restive local government area in the state and it is from there that  Wike built his political machine. 

   Besides the Ikwere factor, the influence of non-Ikweres in the region is  expected to count heavily in the forthcoming election, especially in  Rivers East. Whereas many of them locked shops or went on holiday during  the March/April 2015 general election, the assurance of non-partisan  security arrangements would likely persuade many to hang around and  possibly vote this Saturday.

We hope they make the right choice. I hope that one day you both will take away your prides. You are family in case you don't know. You are both bringing shame to people like us who have watched you on screen and some of us who has had the opportunity to see how each of you have been defended by your loyalist in secret. (talking to Wike). You became a minister yesterday because Amaechi listened to his very own loyalist who pleaded on your behalf. Trust me you would not go in if not for them boys! As for Amaechi take off your pride. We all will die some day.
