An Easter reveller appears to relieve herself into a city centre river in broad daylight in a this jaw-dropping photograph.
The woman was pictured squatting over the River Tyne with her trousers down at Newcastle's bustling Quayside.


Despite the public setting, the woman seems unperturbed by passers-by taking pictures on their phones.
The image was posted on Sunday by Arijas Dukstas with the caption ‘Happy Easter from Newcastle-upon-Tyne’.
As reported by the Newcastle Chronicle, it has been seen by thousands of people on Facebook and has attracted more than 500 comments, with many expressing their horror.
People branded the woman’s behaviour ‘horrible’, ‘scruffy’ and ‘disgusting’.

Should she have waited until under cover of night - or does the time make no difference to the public spectacle?

Sammy-Jo Tote said: “This is the most rank thing I’ve ever seen – it’s daylight, there’s places open.”
Sheila Roberts commented: “Everyone likes a bit of fun but she should be ashamed of herself.”

And Carlie Goodfellow quipped: “Is this her audition for Geordie Shore?”
But several people stuck up for the woman, with Vanessa Ramshaw saying: “If this was a lad it would be OK, she’s obviously mortal drunk, who cares?”
