A father has tragically died on his son’s stag weekend in Poland.
Bank worker William Higgins was found floating in a river on Saturday morning in the city of Wroclaw, the Daily Record reports.
The stag party for the wedding next month of Mr Higgins’s son Mark, had only arrived in Poland on Friday.


Robbery has been ruled out as a motive, according to the Mail on Sunday, as it’s believed Mr Higgins’s passport and ID were still in his pockets when he was pulled from the water.
The body of Mr Higgins, 54, from Mauchline in Ayrshire, was discovered in the River Oder by passers-by.
