Confusion as Top CAC Staffs Suspended. EFCC Finds No Database or Records of Dasuki's Companies..

System Shut Down

A Bad Market for Lawyers and Clients who have their works on-going at the Corporate Affairs Corporation. This morning everyone was lackadaisical; lawyers and staff alike. When asked what the issue was they said Cac is on strike. On further enquiry as to why the suspension, someone else said that five of their staff were suspended this morning so they are on strike to show solidarity cos they weren't given fair hearing.

Now here's the interesting part:  He inquired further as to why five staff were suspended and the circumstances that led to their suspension.
Officials of the EFCC were at the commission yesterday to investigate a company allegedly belonging to erstwhile NSA, Sambo Dasuki.

When they arrived and did the necessary documentation, the company's file was called up for them to take all the evidence they need. But guess what? The company's file could not be found, cannot be found and has not been found even as I write. High-powered search efforts were put in place throughout yesterday but to no avail. Records showed that the file had moved between the "accused" five persons in the last couple of weeks, so they became the prime suspects.

EFCC officials took their BVNs to trace if they had received any money-gifts recently, as suspicion rose that one of them might have been paid by Dasuki or his foot soldiers to smuggle the file out of the commission. Then this morning, without any investigation or hearing whatsoever, they were suspended.

That the only information they post on their database is the current status of a company. Now the company just recently removed all directors and shareholders (not even allowed by Cama) and replaced them with new persons.

More details soonest.
