Pochettino Signs 2-Year Contract Extension at Spurs

Tottenham Hotspurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has been rewarded with a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2021.
The Argentine had been strongly linked to French giants Paris Saint Germain, where he spent two years as a player, but decided to commit his future to Spurs, who are currently in second place in the Premier League table with three games left, their best position in 50 years.

 
“It’s an easy decision,” Pochettino said. “When you are happy and when you feel the love of the people and the potential of the club is massive. Why change?”
“We create a good atmosphere on the training ground and I think we can achieve big things in the future,” he said. 

“I believe in this project and this club. I want to stay here.”
Tottenham currently sit seven points behind surprise leaders Leicester City, and travel to Chelsea on Monday for a match that could prove academic as the title race will be over if the foxes win at United on Sunday, but the manager has called for belief.
