Dogs died after owner fed them deadly diet of Jaffa Cakes and Kit-Kats

A man narrowly avoided prison after his two dogs died thanks to a horrific diet of Jaffa Cakes and Kit-Kats.
Keith Davis ignored advice on how to look after his two collies and fed them chocolate, which is deadly to dogs , and milk, which ruins their digestive system.

Davis, 62, fed collies Jenny and Lolly a wholly inappropriate diet, which also included Jaffa Cakes and milk for breakfast followed by digestive biscuits and Kit-Kats for dinner.
The RSPCA was called last April after reports regarding the concern for Jenny and Lolly’s welfare.
Jenny was taken to a local charity in a terrible state and died almost as soon as she arrived.

The RSPCA found Lolly in a terrible state and rushed her to the hospital, but she had liver and kidney failure and had to be put to sleep.
Both dogs had been vomiting bile, had matted coats covered in excrement and filth, and were extremely obese from being fed the terrible diet by Davies, of Dulwich, south east London
