Graphic Images: Unknown Killers Display Heads of Beheaded Men in Rivers State

The wave of blood-letting in Rivers State, South-South Nigeria, reached new heights over the weekend with reports of gruesome murders of five men by unknown gunmen in Edeoha in Ahoada East Local Government Area, The Herald reports.


This latest attack, which occurred in the wee hours of Monday morning, is particularly frightening as the assailants not only decapitated their victims but displayed their heads on the road, throwing the community into mass panic.

Eye witnesses claim the intended target was a herbalist known as Uwuma Ichocho aka Igwu who allegedly specialized in getting bullets out of gunshot victims, however, he was taken out with all four boys in his custody whose bodies were later burnt in a room.
The boys were said to be cultists, hiding out at the herbalist’s place.
