Johnny Depp and Amber Heard SPLIT as actress files for divorce after just 15 months of marriage
Amber Heard has filed for divorce from Johnny Depp just 15 months after they married.
The actress cited irreconcilable differences when she filed the petition on Monday, reports TMZ.
Amber, who first started dating Johnny in 2012 after meeting on the set of the film The Rum Diary, is reportedly asking for spousal support.
Sources tell the website the couple had no prenup.
She filed for divorce just three days after Johnny’s mum Betty passed away.
Speaking about their relationship previously, the actor said he married Amber after she got "into his head".
"She was in my head, so I tracked her down," he shared. "We tracked each other down. Actually, incidentally, it was amazing.
"It was at the first day of press on The Rum Diary. Then we married that very day!"
Johnny split from partner of 14 years and mother of his two children Vanessa Paradis in June of 2012.
While Amber had ended her three-year relationship with girlfriend Tasya van Ree in 2011.
