Pregnant 15 year old kills self after boyfriend rejects responsibility

A 15-year-old teenager took an unknown poison and killed herself after her boyfriend reportedly denied responsibility of her pregnancy.
According to local police, the teenager from Gaza O, under Chief Musikavanhu, discovered that she was four months pregnant and informed her lover, aged 19.
The boyfriend rejected responsibility for the pregnancy after which the girl went away and consumed an unknown poison.
Student Commits Suicide After Failing In Board Exams The teenager was later discovered lying unconscious near a well at Gaza O location by one Shingai Simango, aged 24, who then asked for assistance from a passing motorist to rush the girl to Chipinge District hospital.
The teen died on admission and police said no foul play suspected.


“We encouraged and advise parents to tell their children to concentrate with school work and not to engage into love affairs when they are still at school,” said Assistant Inspector Blessing Kadzuraumera.
