Suicidal MAn Who Climbed Electric pole demands N5M To Get Down. Police,everyone Abandons Him

Suicidal man who climbed an electric pole to commit suicide in Lagos today, has refused all necessary help to rescue him as Police and other agencies has reportedly left the scene. Obviously did not know that in a country like Nigeria were lives are not precious or government is insensitive to us all. Even the policemen have not seen N100k  not to talk of a man who would spend sometime in prison for trying to commit suicide to demand such. What Arrant Nonsense.


 
A Lagos man who climbed an electric pole since 7:00am in the Lekki area of the Island metropolis, has been reportedly abandoned after all efforts to resue him proved futile as the man said he can only come down if N5million is provided for him.
 
According to Twitter user, Ken Egbas, who has been live-tweeting from the scene of the incident,  the man's had refused to climb down or safely jump unto the trampoline provided. It was later deflated and officials from PHCN, Fire Service and also the Nigerian Police were forced to leave the scene, leaving him to his faith.

EFCC Officials Forcefully Break Into An Expectant Woman's House at 3am

An expectant father has accused EFCC officials of breaking into his home in the middle of the night to conduct a search without a warrant. The man said he was at his home in Olokuta, Kemta, in Idi-Aba, Abeokuta between 3 am to 5 am, when some men forcefully broke into his house using a hammer.  He added that he was afraid they were armed robbers, so he hid in the guest bedroom with his pregnant wife as the men broke in through the sitting room window. According to him, the intruders claimed to be EFCC officials looking for "Yahoo boys", but they had no form of identification, neither did they have a search warrant.  Even without a search warrant, the victim alleged that they searched his house, damaged things, then left without as much as an apology.
