Video 'shows 30-strong group of Ultras try to attack England fans in Lyon' as Euro 2016 clashes continue
A 30-strong group of local Ultras tried to attack England fans in Lyon tonight.
The yobs, dressed in black with red crosses on their arms, taunted around 100 Three Lions supporters.
They threw bottles at the fans but left the central square after being challenged by police.
One fan, Andy Johnson, 52, said: "They came here intent on causing trouble.
"We were just having a beer and sing-song then they turned up."
"The police were no where to be seen - it was obvious what was about to happen," he continued.
"I was worried they were going to ambush us down the backstreets, but fortunately they cleared off pretty quick.
"I'm really angry we are constantly being targeted and the police aren't protecting us."
A barman at the Wallace pub, which was forced to close after the trouble said: "It was locals, they are known around here for it."
It's the latest in a series of violent incidents and clashes between fans since the Euro 2016 tournament began earlier this month.
