Ese Oruru: Yunusa released on bail, taken to Kano

YUNUSA Dahiru, aka “Yellow” who is standing trial on a five count charge of criminal abduction, illicit sex, sexual exploitation and unlawful carnal knowledge of a minor, Miss Ese Oruru, weekend, finally left the custody of the Okaka prison in Yenagoa after spending over four months.

It was gathered that Yunusa was immediately taken to Kano, where he hails from, in company with a team of his defence lawyers who usually fly into the state during court sittings.

Lawyer to the accused, Mr Kayode Olaosebekan, who confirmed the release of Yunusa, said: “His people have taken him away.”
