A knifeman arrested after 19 people were stabbed to death in Japan reportedly told police "I want to get rid of the disabled from this world."
Officers say they have arrested a 26-year-old man former staff member following the tragedy at a centre for the mentally ill in Sagamihara tonight.

The suspect reportedly escaped the facility but then turned himself in, telling police: "I did it."
Nineteen people have been killed and 25 wounded in the attack, officials confirmed.
