NANS Leadership Tussle! Our findings about the Youngest contestant.
Some genuine Nigerian Students, who are passionate about their Leadership, were all asking why they should vote for the youngest candidate in the NANS Presidential election. Here are the facts;
1.It is true that he is the youngest, but the most experienced.
2. It is true that he started as a member of the students judicial council in Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Ebonyi State.
3. It is true that he was the S.U.G PRESIDENT / (SENATOR of NANS) in the same school.
4. It is true that he led a protest that led to the change of the management of that polytechnic.
5. It is true that the management of Akanu Ibiam Federal Poly "as at then", offered him a blank cheque for him to write any amount he wants and stop that protest.
6. It is true that he rejected that cheque, refused to betray Nigerian Students and he continued the protest.
7. It is true that he was victimized and was not given his result from that school untill recently in 2012/2013.
8. It is true that his zeal to further pursue his academic career brought him to Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun where he obtained a Higher diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
9. It is true that he resisted school fees increment in PTI on three occasions with serious but peaceful protests.
10. It is true that he emerged as the Coordinator of NANS in South-South / South-East (ZONE B).
11. It is true that he closed down Rivers State during the unjust killings of uniport students. A popular protest that was tagged "ALU STRUGGLE"
12. It is true that he was actively involved in the Closing down of Niger Bridge while he was a Zonal Coordinator.
13. It is true that he was among the six students that represented Nigerian Students in the National Confab organized during President GEJs administration.
14. It is true that he has led so many dialogue between students and institution managements which has yielded fruitful results.
15. It is true that he is presently doing his university degree.
16. It is true that he is a giver.
17. It is true that he is necessarily loyal.
18. It is true that he is from Okposi in Ebonyi state, South East Nigeria.
19. It is true that he is brilliantly gallant and fluently outspoken.
20. It is true that he is a Presidential Candidate for the upcoming NANS CONVENTION..
21. It is true that he is Chinonso Obasi also known as Inimitable Brave Boy (IBB).
Our reasons are in hundreds, accept this as just a tip about our product.
The Leadership of NANS is not a business enterprise neither is it a gentleman office for any inexperienced professional students to occupy.
So now, I challenge any of his fellow contenders who have a verifiable track records to do same and let the world see
Who is more qualified.
