Chris Brown 'released on £250,000 bail' hours after he's arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon
Pop star Chris Brown has been released on bail following his dramatic arrest after a tense 11-hour stand-off with police.
According to records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, he was released on £250,000 bail today.
The star's attorney Mark Geragos tweeted shortly after:
"Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false."
He is now expected to appear in court on September 20, the records show.

It comes after he was held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Officers surrounded the singer's home on Tuesday following a pre-dawn 911 call from a woman - later named as beauty queen Baylee Curran - who claimed he had pointed a gun at her.
