Female tennis star 'poisoned at Wimbledon Championships

Police are investigating claims a female tennis star was deliberately poisoned while competing at last month's Wimbledon Championships.
British star Gabriella Taylor, 18, was forced to withdraw from the girl's tournament at the quarter-final stage and claims she was infected with a bacteria transmitted through rat urine.

Scotland Yard has confirmed it is treating the case as an allegation of poisoning with intent to endanger life or cause GBH.
Taylor spent four days in intensive care before doctors diagnosed a rare strain of Leptospirois, which can be transmitted through rat urine.
Police are reportedly investigating whether Taylor could have been targeted by an organised crime betting syndicate or a rival player or coach.
